Interviews with Manifesto - Chairman of The Internationale - and ah87 - founder of World Socialist Union.
DDB: We need to know if World Socialist Union and The Internationale are the same or not? Manifesto: I am not sure what the World Socialist Union is. It has never come to my attention. The Internationale is a formation of Marxist, Socialist, and Anarchist parties whos interest is the advancement of the international working class. DDB: Who had the idea? Manifesto: Several people had the idea for the Internationale. The Peoples Communist Party in the UK were already working on one when the Red Resistance Front (Russia) and the Communist Party of Spain established ours. We naturally invited them and encouraged their ideas to be added to ours. DDB: What is the purpose of this institution? Manifesto: As stated earlier, the advancement of the international proletariat in their quest to own the means of production from the dredges of Capitalism. DDB: Who are the current members? Manifesto: Red Resistance Front (Russia), Communist Party of Spain, Communist Party of Romania, Communist Party of Indonesia, Socialist Union of Brazil, Peoples Communist Party (UK), Marxist Communist Front (Sweden). We hope to see many more parties join our union (some have yet to reply back from the invitation). DDB: Do you know anyone who is against this movement? Manifesto: Besides the exploiters, imperialists, and capitalists, none so far. The reception the Internationale has received from the revolutionary left has been great, and all of our members are very enthusiastic on the way things are forming. DDB: What will you do with those who are against this idea? Manifesto: I’m not sure what you are asking here DDB: Be honest, do you think all countries will accept this idea (comunism)? Manifesto: I’m not sure about this one too! Because of the nature of ownership in eRepublik in regards to the means of production, the laws of materialist dialects may not apply. It is very likely that we will not see a world wide workers revolution in all nations. Marxism is a scientific thought which requires observation. The eRepublik world is sitll young. The left in eRepublik is also very strong, and many workers around the world are eager to see a communist revolution in their country. DDB: Do we need to be afraid of your movement? Manifesto: If you are an enemy of the international workers movement, then there is no reason to fear us at all as we wish to advance the cause of the masses of the world. We are a forum for Marxist, Socialist, and Anarchist parties to discuss policies and affairs of our countries. We are defiantly not a secret society ! Any worker around the world is encouraged to participate in our forums and converse with our member parties. DDB: Any opinion for our news reader? Manifesto: You can visit the Internationale at http://theinternationale.proboards83.com . Remember to support your local Socialist party. They are a viable alternative to cutthroat exploitive capitalism which you likely live under. One only has to look at the first Marxist state in eRepublik, Russia, to appreciate the vast growth a fully Socialist system can lead an oppressed and small country to an emerging superpower (until it was cut off by Imperialist Norway). DDB: We need to know if World Socialist Union and The Internationale are the same or not? ah87: No they're not the same thing, we came first ;) DDB: Who had the idea? ah87: It was my suggestion that we come together to share ideas. DDB: What is the purpose of this institution? ah87: The purpose of this institution is to establish mutually beneficial partnerships in the form of joint ventures, that is companies and SOs, and perhaps, military partnerships (defence agreements). Our plan is to enhance the status of socialism and social democracy as a viable political system for the e-world, to better living conditions for your average Joe Shmoe. . DDB: Who are the current members? ah87: I hesitate to answer this question because I still don't know what everyone will agree on, I can tell you that these parties have shown interest, some more than others: Democratic Socialist Party of Iran (Iran) Parti Social Dmocrate (France) Uniao Socialista Brasileira (Brazil) Social Democratic Party (Czech Republic) Partido Social Democrata (Spain) Canadian Social Democrats (Canada) Dinamiche per il Sociale (Italy) DDB: Do you know anyone who is against this movement? ah87: So far everyone I've talked to seems very enthusiastic about what we're doing, there's no harm in what we're doing, so I doubt there'd be any objections. In fact some party leaders have come into this with the sole intention of doing good for the e-world and its citizens which I must admit, is a very rare and admirable quality. DDB: What will you do with those who are against this idea? ah87: Absolutely not. I encourage everyone to join this movement, the more the merrier. DDB: Be honest, do you think all countries will accept this idea (comunism)? ah87: Countries might not accept communism, but even in the real world citizens are pushing for Scandinavian-style Social democracy and, so far, that's the only thing that will work with eRepublik.. DDB: Do we need to be afraid of your movement? ah87: I guess I have no aswer to this. DDB: Any opinion for our news reader? ah87: Egovernments have always advocated policies of military expansionism to serve economic interests (our idea is to serve economic interests in other ways), as I'm a believer in good will. Thanks to everyone at eRepublikNews for giving me the opportunity to promote this. I've bookmarked the page, it is for me, without a doubt the best source for eRepublik news on the web.
